Several photographs of stamps featuring oak trees are presented including the postal stamps with oaks issued in 1980 by the former Soviet Union, the 1982 issue of a miniature copy of a painting of oaks by Russian landscape painter I. I. Schischin (1832-1898) and the German stamp exhibits of Quercus sessilis flowers, leaves and fruits.
