ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the move by U.S.-based environmental group Pew Charitable Trust to turn 972,000 square kilometers of the Coral Sea into a "no-take-zone." It states that zone is still active according to Australian Senator Ron Boswell and the move of the Pew group undermines the confidence of stakeholders in the Bioregional planning process established by the Howard government.
