ABSTRACT
The article offers updates on the economic indicators in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. The 611,000 percent decline of U.S. privately-owned new housing units in January 2010 as well as the 575,000 in February 2010. The University of Michigan consumer sentiment index which reveals that from 73.6 in February 2010, it has fallen to 72.5 in March due to high unemployment. The 2.9 percent fall of average gasoline prices in Puerto Rico for February 2010.
