ABSTRACT
The article reports on the success of the Marymount College Union of Staff Employees (MUSE) and the Marymount Adjunct Collective (MAC) to secure their first contract and overcome the institution's anti-union campaign in Tarrytown, New York. It notes how the college's administration was trying to derail the workers' legal rights and their interest for union representation. It notes that the two unions' victory when the administration agreed to conduct a bargaining.
