Crystal Financial Launches Debt Biz

This article announces the launching by Crystal Financial, a Boston, Massachusetts finance firm, of a debt origination and underwriting business. The new business, with support from Soros Fund Management LLC, intends to make senior term loans of up to 150 million U.S. dollars. A broad range of debt products will be offered by the company to clients, such as first- and second-lien loans, bridge financing and debtor-in-possession facilities. It notes that several businesses have shifted to high-yield bonds to address their financing needs.
