Leadership Excellence Essentials;Apr2010, Vol. 27 Issue 4, p17
The article discusses the need of leaders to learn from the past while simultaneously preparing for the future. It states that previously, changes would occur slowly, allowing people to adapt and change before enjoying a period of stability. It suggests that the problem with this is that it opens the way for stagnation. It offers a tool called GAPS which essentially means identifying problems, analyzing and identifying the causes and creating the appropriate solution.
