ABSTRACT
The article offers information on the California Indian License Plate Initiative introduced by Tribal Point. It notes that the initiative is the first California Indian specialized license plate in the state which aims to assist the funding of the Californian Indian Heritage Center (CIHC), a new state park museum and cultural heritage complex. The plates will be available from the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) in 2010, in conjunction with the approval of the master plan for CIHC.
