ABSTRACT
The article focuses on a research on physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) done by the Human Engineering Research Laboratories (HERL) of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Rehabilitation Research and Development Service and the University of Pittsburgh at the National Veterans Wheelchair Games (NVWG). It states that the research studied the technological advancements in medical rehabilitation, and concludes that high frequency ultrasound is needed for injuries from wheelchairs.
