ABSTRACT
The article presents information on the guidelines proposed by American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) on the Remote Medication Order Processing (RMOP). According to ASHP, patients should have a 24 hour access to their health professionals. For the continuous access to pharmacists, ASHP advocates development of remote delivery of care by pharmacists. According to it the all pharmacists have responsibility of reviewing medical orders to ensure safe medication use.
