ABSTRACT
The article reports that Denman Tire Corp. has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy which will liquidate the company, putting about 260 employees out of work. Sanford Pensler, chief executive officer (CEO) of the tire maker and president of its majority owner, Pensler Capital Powder Corp., has filed for bankruptcy. Denman reported in April 2009 that it had substantial losses from October 2008 through February 2009. It produced more than 1,000 different sizes and types of tires.
