ABSTRACT
The article reports that Silicone products manufacturer MTI Global Inc. plans to sell its MTI PolyFab subsidiary, which makes silicone thermal and acoustic insulation for the aerospace industry, to 3M Co.'s Canadian unit for 24 million dollars. 3M said it plans to combine MTI PolyFab's offerings with those of its own Aearo Technologies L.L.C. subsidiary, providing a comprehensive range of noise and vibration control products for the aerospace industry.
