'Rise in bullying at work means helplines remain vital to staff.'

Stevens, Michelle
March 2010
People Management;3/11/2010, p9
The article focuses on the importance of anti-bullying helplines in employee support. Workplace stress expert Cary Cooper asserts their importance despite a violation in confidentiality within the National Bullying Helpline charity when its founder Christine Pratt revealed caller claims of mistreatment in the British prime minister's office. Cooper resigned from the charity as a result of the violation. The Employee Assistance Professionals Association (EAPA) still urges workers to maintain confidence with the helplines despite the incident.
