ABSTRACT
Information about topics discussed at the peer forum organized by the Hospital for Special Surgery held on May 2-3, 2008 in the U.S. is presented. Orthopedic educators participated in the meeting were asked to identify consensus of areas where improvement is most needed in orthopedic residency training programs. Recommendations included the need for an effective benchmarking program and the need to specify explicit roles and expectations for both faculty and residents.
