Stuttgart goes underground

The article focuses on the construction by Deutsche Bahn AG (DB) of an underground railway station in Stuttgart, Germany which started on February 2, 2010. DB decided to build an underground station to prevent the need for trains to reverse during reconstruction which might create a bottleneck. Such construction forms part of the Stuttgart 21 project, which also includes commercial and residential development.
