The article reports that according to Charlotte, North Carolina's WCNC NewsChannel 36, homeowners have experienced warped and melted vinyl siding in the homes built by Pulte Homes Inc. of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. A company spokesperson says that low-E (energy-efficient) windows are responsible for the melting vinyl siding situation and the problem is not isolated to the city of Charlotte only.
