The article offers information about the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI), its policies, and best practice for planners and the public in Great Britain. RTPI aims to lead and form policy debates, representing its increasing membership; influence policy positions of the stakeholders; and create new ideas and approaches to issues. Its policy and practice team monitors government consultations, policy announcements, and surveys, and ensures the existence of RTPI voice on planning issues.
