The article presents a study conducted by the U.S. Government Accountability Office which examines how the counternarcotics strategy of the U.S. for Afghanistan in changed. It also assesses the progress and the challenges faced in the elimination, interdiction and justice reform. It evaluates the monitoring and evaluation efforts of the U.S. agencies.
