ABSTRACT
The article examines the progress and challenges in defining and coordinating the Comprehensive National Cybersecurity Initiative (CNCI) in the U.S., conducted by the Government Accountability Office (GAO). It was found that the White House and federal agencies have established interagency working groups to coordinate CNCI activities. Challenges that CNCI face in meeting its objectives include defining roles, establishing measures of effectiveness, and reaching agreement on educational efforts.
