Trelleborg to pay settlement in price-fixing case

The article informs that Trelleborg AB and four subsidiaries will pay 14 million dollars, and 13 other companies and individuals a combined 1.4 million dollars, to settle a "whistleblower" lawsuit in a price-fixing scandal involving marine hose, fenders, buoys and pilings. It is stated that the payments settle the allegations of Douglas Farrow, a member of the board of directors of Urethane Products Corp., regarding illegal activities in the marine products industries.
