ABSTRACT
The article provides information on the audit preparation sheet implemented for the compliance oversight program of Columbia University in New York City. The audit preparation sheet explains to principal investigators (PI) what the audit specialist needs to do during an oversight visit. The main objective of having an audit preparation sheet is said to be to establish trust and guide investigators and clinical trial coordinators on what to expect during the audit visit.
