Interdealer Broker Tullett Prebon on the Block

The article reveals that London, England-based interdealer broker Tullett Prebon is involved in negotiations about a possible sale of the firm. According to analyst James Hamilton of Numis Securities, a possible buyer for Tullett is a stock exchange that wants to expand in the over-the-counter market. It cites Deutsche Borse, NYSE Euronext, the London Stock Exchange and Nasdaq OMX Group as some of the stock exchanges that are known for their interest in the derivatives market. Particular focus is given to Tullett's valuation and increase in share price.
