ABSTRACT
The article presents the result of an assessment on the effects of European Union's utility market liberalisation in Europe. Several contributors from different countries across Europe were asked regarding their experience of transacting with water and energy suppliers. According to an Italy-based writer transacting with service providers in Italy is now easier. Meanwhile, a reporter in Belgium claims that the country offers an easier way to access different water supply companies.
