The article considers transition as a solution in revitalizing people. It states that a well-managed transition can provide employees a new start and create two components of revitalization. By redirecting a group and making it apply the new way, transition reorients the group, and by dissociating it from old patterns, subjecting it in the neutral zone, and rebuilding its sense of purpose, it renews the group.
