ABSTRACT
The article provides updates on the year-end reports that most leading mills in the U.S. have released for the full-year 2009 and the start of 2010. AK Steel Corp. which reported a net loss in the first two quarters of 2009, but recover profitability in the third quarter. Alcoa Inc. depicted net losses of 277 million dollars in the fourth quarter due to the 275 million dollars restructuring costs. Allegheny Technologies Inc. reported a net income of 27.8 million in the fourth quarter of 2009.
