ABSTRACT
The article discusses the employment condition in the U.S. since the start of the recession in December 2007. It notes that the country's unemployment rate has declined to 9.7 percent in January 2010, making a positive trend, but just the start of the challenge. It further suggests employers to create an average of 400,000 new jobs every month in order for the economy to fully recover over 2013.
