The article presents a reprint of the article "Refractory atrial fibrillation following tube thoracostomy," by Kuo-Feng Hsu, Han-Bin Wang and Chung-Bao Hsieh that appeared at www.cmaj.ca. It discusses a case study of a 54-year-old man showing atrial fibrillation with rapid ventricular response of 150 to 160 beats per minute in lead II after insertion of chest tubes. It states that a computed tomography was utilized to diagnose the patient's illness.
