The article presents a reprint of the article "Disclosing the identity of sperm donors," by Roger Collier that appeared at www.cmaj.ca. It reports on the significance of concealing the identity of sperm donors in Canada. According to Tamer Said, director of the Andrology Laboratory & Reproductive Tissue Bank at The Toronto Institute for Reproductive Medicine in Ontario, sperm donors should not be forced to disclose their identity when donating sperm cells.
