ABSTRACT
The article reports on the closing of London Refuge Centre in Great Britain in April 2010 due to loss of key funding. Brian Smith, assistant director of St Christopher's Fellowship, says that if new funding was not secured, the refuge would close on March 31, 2010. According to Nick Brenton, of the secretariat for the Association of London Directors of Children's Service, emergency accommodation would be delivered to all young runaways in need by London authorities.
