The article presents insights by Ohio State head football coach Jim Tressel on student-athletes, student diversity and the meaning of being a winner. It notes Tressel's book "The Winners Manual," which points out the difference between purpose and goals, and between faith and belief in the context of sports. It also features his views on LGBT athletes and the process of coming out. Moreover, it cites his point on the important role played by every member of a sports team.
