The article focuses on the benefits of having an in-house recruitment for physicians. It states that hiring an employee that will manage the recruitment process will allow more savings for the institution and seize the opportunity to hire good physicians which will otherwise be lost to other hospitals due to competition. According to the article, the decision to set-up an in-house recruitment facility should consider the strategy and the long-term goal of the hospital as well as the cost incurred in external recruitment.
