ABSTRACT
The article focuses on globalizing English classrooms through an intercultural critical literacy practice. According to the authors, they use an online Web-based discussion forum in order to generate so-called glocal interpretations and identities. They say that the concepts of critical literacy and intercultural competence rely on a definition of literacy as socially constructed practice.
