ABSTRACT
The article discusses the significant advantage of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) software on lean manufacturing operations in the U.S. According to the author, an EHS software has the capability to reduce regulatory risks and could be budgeted as a cost of assurance. The author compared the software with traditional spreadsheets that track sustainability, greenhouse gas emissions, carbon footprints and compliance management.
