ABSTRACT
An introduction to the journal is presented in which the editor discusses various reports published within the issue including one on communication networks with data transfer rate of 100 Gigabytes, one on high-speed camera technology that enables to capture ultrafast and low-light events and one on creation of table-top coherent X-ray sources.
