ABSTRACT
The article presents the February 2010 report of the U.S. Government Accountability Office on the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. It outlines the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 in the U.S. and its implications to the Internal Revenue Services (IRS) in the U.S. It presents the condition of the IRS' enforcement of the Recovery Act provisions. Moreover, it evaluates the IRS' attempts to identify possible abuse of the provisions.
