The article reveals that the dental industry is facing a drastic change in its dental delivery system with the possible signing of the U.S. House health reform bill, H. R. 3962. It says that the bill will not allow participation of stand-alone pediatric dental providers since it has bundled dental coverage with medical benefits. It says that the move will drive up costs for employer groups since medical companies handling the coverages will incur additional administrative costs through outsourcing of dental services and pass them on to employers.
