In the research; it has been evaluated vocational schools for mentally retardeds that depend on the Ministry of Education according to authorized' expression whom working in the vocational schools for mentally retardeds. The researching universe has been existed 55 "vocational schools" and "primary and vocational schools" for mentally retardeds that are working under the Ministry of Education in 2005-2006 education and training seasons. The conclusions of the research is mentioned that; Opening the vocational schools for mentally retardeds that depend on the Ministry of Education in Turkey have been seen % 56,5 increasing between years of 1990-2000; vocational schools for mentally retardeds that depend on the Ministry of Education in Turkey have been seen with a majority of votes % 67,4 in coastline districts of Turkey as "Marmara District", "Akdeniz District" and "Karadeniz District".
