ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the initiatives of the Vancouver Olympic Committee (VANOC) to go green, offset carbon emissions and get athletes and spectators alike onboard with its environmental activities in Vancouver, British Columbia. The Olympic Games has partnered with BC Hydro to provide venues with clean. Attendees of the Olympic Games could have the potential to calculate their carbon footprint and purchase offsets for any remaining carbon emissions.
