Cheaper chlorine?

The article reports on the two chlorine production processes being commercialized by Bayer MaterialScience AG in Great Britain. The use of oxygen depolarised cathode (ODC) has the capability to reduce 30 percent energy consumption and carbon dioxide. The chlorine production is being used at the facilities at Bayer facilities in Germany and China which has been anticipated to reduce environmental problems.
