ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the opportunity for process business to perform an upgrade and migrations for the control system in a downturn economy in Great Britain. An upgrade on the control system has been perceived to create better plant availability, increased efficiency and production flexibility that meets the needs of consumers. Some have adopted the migration project that can be seen in the specialty chemicals, energy and gas sectors.
