ABSTRACT
The article discusses a court case on the appeal of British Petroleum (BP) Co. PLC on the 100 million U.S. dollar damages to be paid to its workers in Texas. The court has obliged the firm to pay its employees for the sufferings of its employees due to the incident at the Texas city refinery. The firm has denied on the toxic chemical emitted during the explosion which has caused dizziness and sore throats to its employees.
