ABSTRACT
The article reports on the construction of the new O.H. Kruse mill at Kansas State University which will benefit the industry and students in Manhattan, Kansas. It states that the mill will be the new home of the Feed Science and Management (FSM) program. The new mill will also be the site for the new National Bio- and Agro-Defense Facility (NBAF) laboratory to be constructed by the Department of Homeland Security. An overview on the advantages of the new mill and biorefinery is also presented.
