ABSTRACT
A personal narrative is presented which explores the author's experience as a food service director at the Connecticut school system Cheshire Public Schools to launch a pilot breakfast program that will replace the fresh fruit and vegetable program with a trial of the breakfast program at Dodd Middle School in 2009.
