ABSTRACT
The article offers news briefs related to community care in Great Britain. In September 2010, all the looked-after children from seven to eleven will get one-to-one educational support under a new government guarantee. The Kent Council recruited 29 social workers from Boston, Massachusetts to occupy vacancies in its children's services in February 2010. According to a survey by the Fostering Network Scotland, only half of the local authorities in Scotland give enough allowances to foster carers.
