ABSTRACT
The article reports on the plan of Cargill Inc. to increase its investment on the RPS Sheet and Plate by acquiring the cold reduction lines of Robinson Steel Co. Inc. in East Chicago, Indiana. Cargill further plans of taking 100 percent ownership of the Cargill Robinson LLC which was a joint venture formed by two companies. Robinson Steel has been anticipated to become the independent owner of the RPS Laser division despite of the acquisition plans of Cargill on the RPS Sheet and Plate.
