ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the innovations in the ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) industry. It is highlighted that the overall loading level in the EPDM formulations has increased, along with demands for shorter mixing cycle and good physical qualities. The polymerization processes used are solution and slurry and the finishing technology in the EPDM production plant can be wet or dry depending on the technology. All these factors influence the performance characteristics of the polymer
