ABSTRACT
The article offers information on providing a live television and on-demand programming through in-car entertainment systems in the U.S. Based on a survey conducted by Nielsen Co., Americans watch 121 hours of television per month. It states that the television subsidiary of Qualcomm Inc. has made a deal with Audiovox Corp. in supplying in-vehicle entertainment systems for FLO's live television service. Moreover, leveraging existing industry practice is also being considered.
