ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the combination of healthcare payments and revenue management technology with traditional financial services to expand customer relationships of Fifth Third Bancorp and U.S. Bancorp. A tag-team approach to commercial lending with payments and processing automation is adopted by U.S. Bancorp. In an effort to speed payment negotiation, Fifth Third Bancorp is using revenue cycle management (RCM) technology.
