ABSTRACT
This section offers news briefs on medical studies as of October 21, 2009. A study released by the University of California suggested that Web searches may increase cognitive skills in neurologically normal people ages 55-78. Findings from a survey showed that older adults between the ages of 65 to 86 were receptive to receiving care from an in-home robot. Sources of income for people over age 65 was reported in the October 2, 2009 issue of the "Congressional Research Reports for the People."
