ABSTRACT
This section offers a couple of news briefs pertaining to key issues involving the House of Commons Environmental Audit Committee in Great Britain, as of January 2010. EAC made a call for stricter budgets and targets to reduce greenhouse gas emissions because of fears that the British government is about to fall short of the Low Carbon Transition Plan and the new carbon budgets. EAC demands additional government support for the growth of environmental jobs and skills.
