ABSTRACT
The article reports about the role renewal of pharmacy personnel in disaster preparedness by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). Michael P. Bourg, chief pharmacy officer at Health and Human Services's Office of Preparedness and Emergency Operation, commented that this new program will help the government in better preparation for responding to a diversity of disasters, including hurricanes, tsunamis, and security events.
